Service Appointments and Scheduling

- Services are provided by appointment or emergency call
- We will confirm appointment times and provide estimated arrival windows
- Weather conditions or emergency calls may affect scheduled appointment times
Cancellation Policy
- Customers may cancel appointments with at least 2 hours advance notice
- Same-day cancellations may be subject to service fees

Access Requirements

- Customer is responsible for ensuring pets are secured during service
- Any hazardous conditions must be disclosed prior to service
Pricing and Payment Terms
Service Pricing
- All prices are subject to change without notice
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Additional work not covered in original estimate requires separate approval
- Emergency service rates may apply for after-hours calls
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Returned checks are subject to additional fees
- Past due accounts may be subject to collection actions and additional fees
Financing
- Financing options may be available subject to credit approval
- Financing terms and conditions are provided separately
- Customer is responsible for understanding all financing terms
Warranties and Guarantees
Service Warranty
- We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion date
- Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties
- Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or misuse
- Warranty repairs must be performed by R2 Mechanical HVAC
Equipment Warranties
- New equipment comes with manufacturer warranties
- We assist with warranty claims but do not extend manufacturer warranty terms
- Used or refurbished equipment may have limited warranties
Warranty Exclusions
- Damage due to power surges, floods, or acts of nature
- Modifications or repairs performed by others
- Normal maintenance items (filters, batteries, etc.)
- Systems not properly maintained according to manufacturer specifications
Customer Responsibilities
Maintenance
- Customer is responsible for regular filter changes and basic maintenance
- Failure to maintain systems may void warranties
- Customer should schedule regular professional maintenance
Safety
- Customer must inform us of any hazardous conditions
- Customer is responsible for ensuring safe working conditions
- Any safety concerns will result in work stoppage until resolved
Property Protection
- Customer should remove or protect valuable items in work areas
- We will take reasonable care to protect property during service
- Customer is responsible for providing accurate information about their property
Liability and Insurance
Insurance Coverage
- R2 Mechanical HVAC maintains appropriate business insurance
- We are licensed and bonded as required by local regulations
- Insurance certificates available upon request
Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
- Customer should maintain appropriate property insurance
- Claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery
Dispute Resolution
Communication
- We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns
- Complaints should be reported promptly to allow for resolution
- We will work in good faith to address legitimate concerns
Legal Disputes
- Any disputes will be governed by Texas state law
- Disputes will be resolved in Denton County, Texas courts
- Customer agrees to attempt mediation before litigation
Emergency Services
Emergency Definition
Emergency services are for situations that pose immediate health, safety, or property risks such as:
- Complete loss of heating in cold weather
- Complete loss of cooling in extreme heat
- Gas leaks or electrical hazards
- Water leaks from HVAC equipment
Emergency Service Terms
- Emergency rates apply for after-hours, weekend, and holiday service
- Response time goals are estimates, not guarantees
- Customer authorizes necessary emergency repairs up to agreed limits
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of R2 Mechanical HVAC and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our content without permission.
Privacy
